Switch is an all-in-one app for people that are on the move. It provides a virtual VOIP number that works globally and locally like Skype (RIP). Get a dedicated Switch number or connect your existing number and use it seamlessly to make calls, receive SMS, and optionally add the convenience of data eSIMs wherever you travel.
How does it work?
Download the mobile app and simply connect your number or register for a new Switch number add data plans and other features (transcription, recording, AI Asisstant) as needed.
Is it secure?
Yes, Switch prioritizes your security and ensure your data is protected 🔒. Switch uses carrier-grade encryption and does not share or sell your data. Numbers are leased securely via licensed global providers (e.g. Twilio). All messages are stored privately and never shared with third parties.
Can I port my number?
Absolutely! You can port your existing number to Switch for a seamless transition. This allows you to maintain your identity while enjoying our services. You can setup call forwarding with your own provider; instructions are within our app.
Can locals call me?
Yes — since they’re calling a local number in their country, we don’t charge long-distance fees.
What countries are supported?

Can I use this for business purposes?

Does the number expire if I don’t use it?

What’s the difference between Switch and Skype Number or Airalo?
It both of them in one — borderless calls + data — one app with no-frills pricing. Skype Number didn’t support data plans and is no longer available. Airalo plans are data-only. Switch provides an all-in-one solution with calls and eSIM/data options that you can always upgrade and downgrade based on your use case.
